Triathlon Victoria is committed to supporting clubs and individual members to stay connected to each other during challenging times. Being a triathlon club member offers more than just the practical benefits of group training, coaching, events etc. It’s the intangibles like friendship, support, belonging and connectedness that are most important.
What is Pay It Forward
Pay It Forward is a crowdfunding campaign created to help support our members who are undergoing financial hardship due to COVID-19 and unable to renew their membership for the 2021-22 season.
The campaign allows the swim, bike and run community to give either a donation towards a membership or fully fund a membership for a fellow club member.

We know participation in sport enhances physical and mental health and we believe we have a role to play in supporting the wellbeing of our triathlon community by keeping members connected to their club.
This fundraising initiative is purely to support those in our sport who are undergoing financial hardship.

Public donations are the driving force behind this initiative. We’re calling on those of you in our swim, bike and run community, who are in a position to do so, to consider making a donation. By doing so, we then have the means to help those members who need a little extra support right now.

How can I apply (or nominate) someone to receive help?
We’ve done our best to keep the process simple and not intrusive for our members. If yourself or a 2020-21 member you know is undergoing financial hardship, please contact your Club President or Head Coach.
A Club President or Head Coach will assess members who come forward for support. They will provide a small amount of information to Triathlon Victoria so that each requests is processed in line with the Australian Sports Foundation’s requirements. All affiliated clubs have been provided with an online form to complete and submit on a members behalf. This form is submitted directly to Triathlon Victoria’s Executive Director and is strictly confidential. If clubs need access to the link again, please email us.
Once an application has been processed, Triathlon Victoria will issue a coupon code to the member to sign up online. This code will cover all membership tiers: Triathlon Victoria, Triathlon Australia and your Club.
