A new date for the Victorian Aquathlon Championships has been locked-in, with the event set to take place on Sunday 29 January 2023.
The third State Championships of the 2022/23 Victorian State Series season takes place in Shepparton, with athletes swimming in Victoria Park lake followed by a run encompassing the lake edge, the red gum forest and river flats.
Originally scheduled for Sunday 4th December 2022, the event was postponed due to significant flooding in the area.
The event will also provide the opportunity for athletes to earn a spot on Team Australia for the 2023 World Championships in Ibiza, Spain, and serve as a Schools Sports Victoria and Multiclass representative selection event.
