Lockdown restrictions will be eased across Melbourne on Friday, however, several limitations will remain in place.
From 11:59 pm Thursday 10 June, the five reasons to leave home will no longer apply in metro Melbourne, and the existing 10-kilometre limit will be increased to 25 kilometres.
Wherever possible, the state government requests people to stay local. The only reasons to go further than 25 km is for work, education, care and caregiving, and vaccination.
Those living in the Melbourne Metro area are not permitted to travel into regional Victoria unless it is for permitted work or essential reasons.
