The only true regionally based T2G program at present, is down at Colac Secondary. It was a superb success in 2019 and unfortunately impacted by COVID-19 in 2020. Working with thirty students, that were somewhat each already engaged in physical activity, T2G Ambassador Kate Bramley made best use of connections in the local community to find training facilities.
Between using the school, local leisure center and other facilities to bring together a weekly before school training session, that focused week to week on a different aspect of swim, bike and run triathlon skills. Culminating in a school/pool-based event, students all found the thrill of experiencing multisport.
