Lance Deveson, a member of Triathlon Victoria’s Technical Committee, will be conducting a training session for anyone interested in becoming a motorcycle official on Sunday, February 2.
With a real focus on safe riding for motorcycles assisting at Triathlons, the session will focus on Safety, adequately fitted clothing and helmets.
Lance’s passion is teaching TOs to relax and feel safe on a bike during an event, and help them to feel confident in concentrating on their role. “As I say to my students a teacher by profession, Motorcyclist by passion with an emphasis on Safety.”
- Teacher with over 40 yrs experience including Primary through to Tertiary education
- Motorcycle trainer, current for past 6 yrs teaching from Learners through to advanced riding.
- Officiated at many Triathlons, Duathlon and Ironman events as a motorcycle rider with TO as pillion.
- Held a motorcycle licence for 50 years.
